Sarah just gets it. I suffer from military PTSD for over 20yrs. Somehow the energy she holds allows me to feel more confident and able to get through a yoga/breath work session. The ability to teach and guide you through one of her sessions is instantly rewarding. There has never been a moment where my anxiety won in telling me “see, you should’ve just stayed home”. Instead, my mind is strong and inspired to face the world but also tell my negative thoughts to go pound sand. Sarah is a treasure and I hope to continue this uphill battle with her by my side. Thank you for sharing your love and support Sarah.
I attended my first breathwork group class (8 participants) last night at Thresholds Collective and it was phenomenal.
I had what I can only describe as a spiritual awakening and the best part is that I was completely sober and therefore have a chance at remembering and hopefully integrating this profound experience!
Sarah created a space that felt entirely safe, kind, and protected, and encouraged us to go deep.
This enabled me to let go of a deeply rooted fear and peer behind the veil to glimpse the love that permeates existence.
I wholeheartedly recommending doing breathwork together with Sarah - it will change your life for the better!
Thank you, Sarah!
I had a really cool experience at a Breathwork session last week with Sarah. Every time I have done Breathwork before, when I do the breath holds after the intense breathing in and out through your mouth, I have felt like I have a board/plank laying across my body at my solar plexus. This time, that space felt wide open and the board feeling had moved to my sacral chakra. By the third time we did the breath hold, I could feel whatever was trapped start to trickle down my legs like warm honey and move out and down through my feet. It was a vivid and surreal experience. I hold a lot of trauma in my pelvic region and it was so healing to move some of this out of my body on the eve of my oldest’s birthday (his birth was very difficult and I lost his twin early in my pregnancy). I continue to feel the shifts and awakening in my body even after our breathwork session ended!
I learned about breath work 5 years before actually trying it out, and was pretty skeptical. But after reading the book Breath I decided to give it a try. I first went to one of Sarah’s session back in September, and I was sold. I now attend her breath work sessions on a monthly basis. Breath work has reduced anxiety that I had been struggling with for years. I feel more embodied and secure in myself after a session. She is such a wonderful guide. She makes you feel safe, while leading with confidence. She truly cares about each person in the room, making them feel seen and important. I highly recommend working with Sarah!
This was my first experience with breath work, and I can’t recommend it enough! It is truly incredible what our bodies can do, and how a practice like this made me feel so rooted and connected to myself. Sarah was an amazing guide for this experience, and her passion for the practice and conviction around its ability to create flow within the self were what inspired me to try it.
I'd never tried breath work before working with Sarah. I'm a trained therapist and have a lot of experience with healing and inner work, but breath work is on totally different level. Sarah confidently and kindly facilitated me through an embodied practice that quickly released stuck energy and feeling, freed up my body and allowed me greater access to myself--all in 90 minutes. I can't recommend this work highly enough and will absolutely keep working with Sarah.
